What is the Biofabrication Conference?

From September 17th to 20th, 2023, part of the Bio3DPrinting team, a company within the Group, was in Saskatoon, Canada, to participate in the Biofabrication Conference 2023, the international conference on innovations in biomedical 3D printing.

Electrospider at the Biofabrication Conference

For the Group’s business unit dealing with 3D bioprinting, it was a unique opportunity to interact with the major players in the industry.

Furthermore, Ginevra Pegollo, Biomedical R&D Engineer, presented to attendees the potential of Electrospider during the speech titled “Electrospider: a novel bioprinting ecosystem for biofabrication scale-up of tissues and organs.”

The themes of the congress

The event allowed the Bio3DPrinting team to exchange ideas and innovations in the field of biofabrication with researchers, doctors, and engineers. In particular, the focus was on biomaterials, bioinks, and biofabrication technologies.
